About the role
As a Backend NodeJS Developer at Comet, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that are set to redefine the digital product landscape. With your expertise and attention to detail, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital experiences, ensuring that our creative solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Build the backend for a brand new product from scratch
- Design, write, test, and deploy scalable code
- Lead a team of developers
- Accurately estimate schedules and deliver high quality work products to that schedule
- Iterate in an agile fashion and being in control of your fate: contributing to the continuous improvement of the team
- Work within a cross-functional team (including developers, product manager and business analyst) and translate your technical skills to ensure the team understands our vision
- The technologies you will be working with are: Nodejs, Nestjs, + React, Typescript & RESTful APIs
What You'll Bring
- Experience and proven understanding of developing with nodejs/nestjs
- Experience writing code that balances performance and maintainability
- Experience building systems for scale and resiliency
- Experience with designing and building microservices, RESTful APIs
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases
- Experience with Azure hosting environment
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code that adheres to a well-documented coding standard
- Hungarian language is a must, English is a plus
